¡Hola a todos! Hello everyone! My name is Señora Godby and I am one of the many great Spanish teachers at Mountain Ridge High School. This is the start of my fifteenth year of teaching, and my third year teaching at Mountain Ridge. In college, I studied Spanish with the intent of being a high school Spanish teacher. I also earned my Master's in Secondary Education, as well as completed graduate coursework for Spanish teachers. 

Outside of the classroom, I am very active! I love to go hiking, backpacking, and camping. I love to run and workout, and I try to do both nearly everyday. I also love Arizona sports. My favorite teams are the Cardinals, Diamondbacks, and of course the Suns. Something else about me is that I have the world's best black Labrador Retriever who loves to play. 

I want each of my students to know that I truly love being a Spanish teacher. Every day for me is a new challenge and adventure. I am so lucky to work with each of you and help you meet your language learning goals.
