Mr. Carl Wilfong
I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from University of Evansville with a major in Ceramics. After graduating I continued with several graduate level Drawing classes but an opportunity to move to Chicago (rent free) was too compelling to keep me in Evansville Indiana. After a few adventurous years in the windy city, I returned to the state I left after third grade, Arizona. Several years after moving back to AZ I pursued my original intentions of becoming a high school art teacher, and with the help of Ottowa University’s post-bac program, I earned my Arizona Teaching Certificate.
I am honored to have been named a Deer Valley Unified School District Teacher of the year and also to have served briefly as the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵapp Visual Arts Coordinator. Currently I serve the Fine Arts at MRHS as Department Leader and ¼â½ÐÊÓƵapp as HS Visual Arts Lead.
