Hi Mirage Families! My name is Cynthia Snapp, and I am so excited to be the School Counselor at Mirage Elementary. I am extremely grateful to have the opportunity to work at Mirage Elementary with all the amazing students and their families. This is a dream job as I feel being able to connect with students about social and emotional skills is not only paramount to their education but to their well-being as a person. 

I am available to students through class lessons, small groups, and limited individual meetings.  I learn from the students every time I meet with them and am continually impressed by their desire to understand themselves and those around them.  I have worked with students as a classroom teacher, in various social work programs, and as a school counselor.  I have a bachelor's degree in special education and elementary education and a master's degree in counseling. In my free time, I can be found in hot yoga classes or with my family, which includes my wife, our 11-year-old twin boys and our three wild and crazy pups.
