• 2nd Grade General Music Class

    This year the 2nd graders will learn about instrument families and what instruments go into each family.

    They will be learning how to clap and count quarter notes, eighth notes and sixteenth notes. They will continue to work on understanding about silence or rests in music.

    They will learn new songs to help them understand rhythm and beat. 

    Tempo will be introduced. Dynamics or Forte and Piano (loud and soft) will be reviewed. 

    Lessons will also be on CANVAS in case a student is absent and wants to do make up work. We will work with CHROME books in class to learn how to do this.
