It was a night of celebration for many ¼â½ÐÊÓƵapp employees moving on to retirement.
On Wednesday May1, ¼â½ÐÊÓƵapp honored more than 100 retiring district staff, including teachers, paraprofessionals, bus drivers, and cafeteria workers to name a few. More than 60 retirees attended the celebration at the district office.
Attendees were greeted by the Sandra Day O'Connor High School Air Force JROTC, sporting full uniforms and swords, creating a unique entryway for the attendees and their families and friends. The ceremonies then began with a presentation of our nation's colors by the Deer Valley High School Air Force JROTC, and the national anthem sung by the Barry Goldwater High School chamber choir. The choir then performed three jazz songs in appreciation of the honored guests.
